3. Payment Terms for Upmedix
3.1 Service Fees and Payment
Upmedix provides its services under two distinct paymentframeworks, determined by the location of the medical service and agreementswith healthcare providers. Here's how it works:
All-Inclusive Package Model: In thisapproach, Upmedix compiles a comprehensive treatment package for you, coveringboth our service fees and the healthcare provider's charges, and accommodation fee.This bundled cost, presented to you as a personalized quote, includeseverything from our operational expenses to the hospital's treatment fees,ensuring you have a clear understanding of the total expenditure upfront. Wemanage the financial transactions, forwarding the treatment costs directly tothe medical provider.
Commission-Based Model: Under this model, Upmedix receives acommission from the total treatment cost. You'll make an initial down paymentto us to confirm your booking, while the balance will be paid directly to thehealthcare provider. The total cost provided in your quote is all-encompassing,with no hidden fees to worry about.
Regardless of the model, you don’t pay us for the medicaltreatment, , the costs for medical treatment are directed appropriately—eitherpassed through us to the healthcare provider or paid by you directly to them.
Before any payment is required, we'll inform you about theapplicable payment model for your treatment, ensuring transparency and clarityfrom the get-go.
Payments to us can be made through Stripe, PayPal, or banktransfers, with transactions processed in either pounds or dollars, dependingon the patient's preference.
3.2 Deposits and Full Payments
A minimum deposit of 200£ is required to secure a booking for thedesired medical procedure. This will be deducted from the total treatmentpackage price. Patients have the option to pay the full treatment cost upfront.The full payment must be completed before the treatment commences. Deposits andpayments are refundable up to 10 days prior to the scheduled procedure. Ifcancellation within 10 days of the pre-agreed treatment date, only £200 servicefee will be retained by Upmedix and the remainder of the payment will berefunded.
3.3 Cancellations and Refunds
Patients may cancel their procedure and request a full refund upto 10 days before the scheduled date. Post this period, a cancellation fee of£200 is applied, with the remaining amount refunded. Refunds are processedwithin 24 hours through our third-party payment gateways, with the processingtime subject to the provider's policies.

Upmedix utilizes third-party payment processors to handle allfinancial transactions, ensuring no additional payment fees are imposed on thepatient. These platforms are chosen for their reliability and securitymeasures, safeguarding patient financial information and transaction integrity.

To facilitate a smooth treatment process, full payment is requiredbefore the patient's arrival at the hospital. Failure to complete payment indue time may result in the inability to proceed with the scheduled treatment.Patients are encouraged to settle the total amount before travel to avoid anyinconvenience.

The quoted price for any treatment package is guaranteed for 30days from the offer date, ensuring no unexpected changes in the fees or pricingwithin this validity period.
